A lovely day of snow, but not nearly enough. I'd really like about another foot and a half so I can try my snowshoes! lol, well, I bought them for $30.00 at a thrift store, and they're just aluminum ones, but other than trying them on, I have yet to use them. My garden's not doing so well. The plants are alive but not really thriving, though the weeds, I can't keep up with them and the whole garden looks hidden and unhappy. One of the very nice people on my f-list, bic_hok , was talking about making her job more pleasant by buying notebooks from her own money, just so she'd have exactly what she needs.

I've done that, too, for my little post office job. Not notebooks, but items. I can work at five different offices, now, and at four of them, I haven't had supplies that I feel ( Read more... )

My MIL is getting better ever day, and is without the ventilator two hours a day, now, plus, all her limbs seem to be working, so she really is recovering. She also seems to have all her faculties as far as understanding and speech goes. Whew! I'm sooooo glad ( Read more... )
